Throughout Hearing Health Awareness Month, the team has been reaching out to people across Midland to tell them why regular assessments are essential.

This desire to inform local people pervades everything we do at the office and motivates us to keep moving forward.

This means our team don’t just want to give you fantastic assistance, but also, educate you through every step of your journey to better hearing.

These are some of the reasons why everyone at All About Hearing feels passionate about promoting hearing healthcare.

Communication is crucial

A hearing loss won’t just reduce the plethora of amazing sounds you can hear each day. It will also diminish how well you can communicate.

This can become a serious issue for many people, regardless of their age.

For example, young professionals who work in busy offices may find they are unable to interact effectively with their colleagues.

While those who have had amazing event-filled lives may suddenly find their worlds becoming closed-off and isolated.

We know helping someone achieve fantastic hearing isn’t just about addressing a health issue, but also, allowing them to thrive in social situations.

If you know someone who might be experiencing a hearing loss, let them know that we’re passionate about treating every single symptom.

Hearing loss can be avoided

Some forms of hearing loss cannot be prevented, such as conditions that are passed down through generations or those that take place due to aging.

But in many cases, the right hearing conservation strategies can halt symptoms before they arise – and the team is determined to promote these in our community wherever possible.

For example, All About Hearing’s staff regularly test those who work in industrial settings and are at risk of damaging their auditory systems.

They also work with those who enjoy noise-filled recreational activities, such as hunting – providing custom earpieces so gunfire won’t do lasting damage to their hearing.

When everyone becomes more aware of the dangers of hearing loss, more people will see the value in conservation strategies.

The All About Hearing team feels extremely passionate as the focal point of this voice in Midland.
