The Hear Better Program offers Midland hearing aid users predictable annual care for a dollar a day, covering repairs, supplies, reprogramming, and loaner devices.

Nobody thinks much about their hearing aids until something goes wrong. A device stops charging, sound turns fuzzy, or a dome disappears the morning you leave for vacation. Then you're calling around trying to find someone who can help today, paying whatever that urgency costs. The Hear Better Program exists to break that cycle.

What You Get with Our Hear Better Program

The Hear Better Program comes with four things.

Repair support within 72 hours. If your devices quit on you, you're not waiting weeks for an appointment. Going without hearing aids isn't a realistic option for most people, so we treat it that way.

Complimentary supplies. Batteries, domes, and filters come to you. No extra trips into the office just to restock the basics.

Annual reprogramming and software updates. Your hearing shifts over time, sometimes so gradually you'd never notice it on your own. We recheck your levels each year and update your settings to match. Members get discounted rates on future upgrades too.

A loaner hearing aid. If your device goes missing or has to leave the office for repair, you'll have a loaner in hand within 72 hours.

One flat annual rate, with no surprise charges layered on top.

The Real Cost of Paying As You Go

Without a plan, every service carries its own price tag. A repair in the spring. A pack of domes in the summer. A reprogramming visit once your hearing shifts. None of it feels like much on its own. Add it up across a full year, though, and the picture starts to look different.

Then there's the part nobody budgets for, which is time spent without your hearing aids. When a device breaks and no loaner is available, patients can go days or weeks waiting on parts to arrive. That's not a small inconvenience. It shapes how you talk with your family, how confident you feel in a group, even how aware you are of traffic when you're out walking.

Stretch that math across the lifespan of a set of hearing aids, usually several years, and one predictable annual cost tends to beat a string of surprise bills.

How Regular Care Keeps Your Devices Running Longer

Hearing aids fail for a handful of predictable reasons. Wax clogs the microphone and speaker ports. Moisture works its way into components that were never meant to get damp. Programming drifts out of step with your actual hearing levels, so the devices push harder than they should have to.

Caught early, most of that is a quick fix. Left alone, it turns into the kind of damage that shortens a device's life or lands you with a repair bill that never had to happen.

Our general recommendation for any set of hearing aids, program or not, is routine maintenance every six months. Membership simply builds that rhythm in so it doesn't slip off your calendar.

Routine cleaning and yearly reprogramming keep your hearing aids performing the way they were built to perform, rather than quietly degrading in the background as you slowly adjust to worse sound.

What Patients Notice Most

The change patients bring up most often has nothing to do with money. It's the freedom to call us the moment something feels off, without running mental math on what the visit is going to cost. Small problems get mentioned instead of ignored. People come in sooner. Faster fixes, longer device life.

It's simpler, too. Supplies arrive at your door. Annual appointments are built into the plan. If something breaks, you already know exactly what happens next.

For anyone who wears hearing aids from the moment they wake up until the moment they go to bed, that kind of reliability counts for a lot.

Enroll in the Hear Better Program in Midland

We've spent two decades helping people across Midland and the Permian Basin hear better, and a good portion of that work happens long after the fitting. Devices need care to keep doing their job well.

If you wear hearing aids and you'd rather stop bracing for the next problem, give us a call at (432) 689-2220 to ask about enrolling. You're welcome to stop by the office instead, and we'll walk you through the details in person before you decide anything.
