ReSound Sensia
AI hearing technology that automatically focuses on the voice you're facing, bringing conversations forward while keeping you aware of the world around you.

Many AI hearing aids are good at reducing noise, but they can lock onto the loudest voice in the room instead of the person you actually want to hear. ReSound Sensia was built to solve exactly this problem, using automatic processing that follows your attention rather than just chasing volume.
Technology That Focuses on the Right Voice
ReSound Sensia is powered by a new automatic system called Intelligent All-Around, which brings three technologies together so you don't have to switch programs or press buttons. A feature called AcoustIQ continuously analyzes your surroundings and decides which settings to turn on at any given moment.
A four-microphone beamformer then creates a forward-facing zone of focus, so when you look toward the person you want to hear, the hearing aids emphasize their voice. Finally, Deep Neural Network (DNN) denoising, a form of AI trained on real-world sound, quiets the competing speech and background noise around that person.
Processing That Works on Its Own
The important difference from earlier models is that all of this happens automatically. On the premium Sensia 9, the hearing aids recognize a difficult conversation in noise and engage their strongest processing on their own, so you simply put them on and hear. Sensia is also deliberately steady, taking a moment to confirm a genuinely challenging environment before applying its strongest settings, which prevents the sound from jumping around as your surroundings briefly change.
In ReSound's own research, Sensia made the person in front of the wearer the most audible voice for 80% of participants, a result validated by the independent Hörzentrum Oldenburg research center.
Connectivity, Comfort, and Everyday Use
ReSound Sensia includes the latest Bluetooth Low Energy Audio and Auracast, the new public broadcasting system appearing in theaters, airports, and other venues. ReSound has emphasized that Auracast on Sensia is fully working at launch rather than waiting on a future update, so when a venue offers it, you can tune directly into the sound system through the ReSound app and hear announcements or performances clearly.
Despite adding all this automatic processing, Sensia keeps the very small size and long battery life of its predecessor. The rechargeable models are rated for at least 24 hours of use on a single charge, with up to around 30 hours depending on how you use them. The family also offers a wide range of styles, from one of the smallest AI receiver-in-ear designs available to custom in-the-ear options, along with solutions for single-sided hearing loss and bimodal compatibility for Cochlear Nucleus implant users.
