What Prevents Many from Addressing Their Hearing Challenges? | Patients of All About Hearing Share Their Experiences

by | 06/27/2023 | News, Patient Resources

One of the biggest challenges we face as hearing healthcare professionals is the disparity between those who decide to treat their hearing loss and those who live with untreated hearing difficulties.

Many individuals opt to delay addressing their hearing loss until it becomes unbearable or, in numerous instances, decide to ignore their hearing challenges altogether. This leads to feelings of isolation and frustration among both the individuals and their loved ones.

Despite our consistent advocacy for regular hearing tests and early detection, many still opt to ignore their hearing challenges. To address this, we’ve asked several of our patients at All About Hearing to share their stories, moments of realization, and experiences with us.

Patient Stories

Susan Weaverling was already a seasoned hearing aid wearer when she sought the exceptional hearing care services at All About Hearing. “I love Brian. He helps me and explains everything to me,” she expressed. After having been to three different places, Susan confidently asserts that All About Hearing is the best and a “good place to come to.”

Next, we have Jerry Keeney’s story. Jerry didn’t realize the impact of his diminishing hearing until he could no longer carry a conversation in a crowd. His biggest concern before visiting us was the cost of hearing aids.

Jerry was impressed with our COVID-19 preparedness and our professional care during his first appointment. Post-fitting, he has seen a significant improvement in his hearing. “I can now have conversations and don’t have to crank up the TV volume,” Jerry shares. He gives us a perfect score and encourages others to visit All About Hearing for a pleasant experience.

Lastly, we have the story of (James) Gary Smith. Gary was aware of his hearing loss but was in search of a hearing care provider he felt comfortable with. “I was impressed right from the start.

“Brian took an interest in my case from the get go!” Gary shares about his initial experience with us. Since getting his hearing aids, he confesses he doesn’t wear them all the time, but when he does, he can hear much better. Gary rates All About Hearing 10/10 and recommends anyone seeking help for their hearing loss to consult us.
