All About Hearing COVID

As Midland’s most trusted hearing care experts and Permian Basin’s first Doctor of Audiology, nothing matters more than the health and wellbeing of our patients and community.

With the challenges being presented by COVID-19 and based on recommendations by the CDC, an immediate five-step protocol has been put into place to ensure the safety of you, other patients, and our team.

#1 – Hand Washing on Arrival

All patients must wash their hands upon arrival as clearly marked on the office door. Upon entering, all patients must then use the provided hand sanitizer.

#2 – Rescheduling Routine Appointments

During these challenging times, the decision has been made to reschedule all routine appointments. If you have an upcoming routine appointment scheduled, our team will contact you shortly or you can contact us to reschedule/discuss.

#3 – Minimum Company for Appointments

You’re kindly asked to bring a maximum of one person with you for your appointment, and ideally visit alone if possible.

#4 – Thorough Cleaning Between Appointments

Between appointments, additional time has been scheduled to thoroughly clean all surfaces and ensure each patient is entering a sterile environment.

#5 – Please Ensure You’re in Good Health

In the same way that our team’s health is being monitored daily through temperature checks and routine hand sanitation, you are kindly asked to reschedule your appointment if you have had a fever or cough, or have traveled out of the country during the past two weeks.

Please know that just as we have been for the past 13 years, All About Hearing remains here for you

Regardless of whether you need help with your hearing devices or you need any form of additional help/support, you are our family and you will always be treated like family.

Please call us with any questions or challenges at 432-689-2220.

We are here for you.

Dr. Sally Miranda and the team at All About Hearing.

Do you know somebody that needs to see this? Why not share it?

Dr. Joycelin Lopez, Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Joycelin grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida. Initially, she earned a bachelor’s degree in linguistics from the state’s university. Then following graduation, she became a learning specialist, working with the hard of hearing. This experience sparked her curiosity in audiology. She returned to the University of Florida for graduate studies, where she gained her doctor of audiology degree. This education took her to North Carolina, where she completed an externship that focused on balance evaluations and central auditory processing. Her decision to move to Midland in late 2020 showcases her spirit of adventure. But also, it demonstrates her determination to find and assist people who can benefit from her professional expertise. Besides audiology, Dr. Joycelin has a passion for art, having taken classes all her life. Mostly, she works with watercolors, but she also has an interest in digital animation.
